College of Engineering Pune, (COEP) is the third oldest engineering college in Asia. It is an autonomous institute, ranked among the top engineering colleges in the country. With a vibrant student community, COEP is the Alma mater of renowned graduates such as Bharat Ratna M. Visvesvaraya, Dr. Thomas Kailath, Dr. C. K. N. Patel and well-known personalities such as Dr. Vijay Kelkar, Mrs. Lila Poonawala, Mr. Rahul Bajaj and Mr. Hemant Nerurkar among others.
COEP hosts one of the largest technical festivals in the country, MindSpark. A students initiative, it is an encouraging platform to bring together some of the sharpest engineering minds in the country.
Since its inception in 2007, MindSpark, has turned in to one of the most coveted and awaited events in the country today.
This year, MindSpark steps into its tenth edition, having had a footfall of 20000 last year.
The decade edition aims to bring about a tangible and positive environmental impact through ideas and innovations that have the potential to revolutionize and safeguard our future. To accomplish this, we have more than 50 events encompassing the theme "A Green Expedition" in every possible way.

MindSpark is the national level, annual technical festival of College of Engineering, Pune. It was started as an initiative by a group of enthusiastic students. A decade after its inception, MindSpark has grown to become one of the best technical platforms for showcasing engineering brilliance and competing among the best.
Being a completely student organized festival, we believe in making the learning process more interactive. One of our core values is to spread state of the art technology across all demographics, which we accomplish by conducting outreach workshops.
MindSpark receives a footfall of around 20,000 every year. The Keynote Lecture Series is a student favourite, providing a progressive arena for exchange of ideas. Several prominent personalities from the fields of science and entrepreneurship have delivered keynote lectures at MindSpark. With the 10th edition this year, we aspire to broaden our horizons and ignite more minds. We strive to have more challenging competitions and impactful social initiatives with an altruistic approach. This glorious edition of MindSpark promises sustainable ideas which will leave a definite mark in the history of tech-evolution.
